

ABSENTEE BIDDING

- BUYER'S PREMIUM
A 4% buyer's premium will be added to all successful bids and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase cost. A 4% discount is applied to payments made with cash, check or money order.
There will be a $7 packing and handling fee per successful lot. If you are picking up your item, the fee will be waived.
- CONDITION OF ITEMS
Seeck Auctions makes every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales. All damages seen at time of listing have been identified. Common nicks, scratches, Manufacturing issues, pinheads and wear has not been called. If an item is found to be different than listed, it will be announced and no absentee bids will be entered on item. HOWEVER, all items for sale are "as is," and it is the bidder's responsibility (present or absentee bidders) to determine the exact condition of each item. Seeck Auctions will not be held responsible for typographical errors.
We do NOT guarantee clocks to be in running order.

By sending the numbers of the item(s) desired and the amount bid on each to:
Seeck Auctions, PO Box 377, Mason City, Iowa 50402. (The mail has not been very dependable. We
would prefer you call us with your bids rather than send them in a letter.)
* All written and called in bids will be entered into the online catalog by us.
2) Bidders may preview, register and place bids into the online catalog through our Website using the Auction Flex system.
When you get to the online catalog, you will need to login as a bidder. For the first time you will need to set up your
account by creating a username and password. This will include filling out a form with your name, address, etc. You
will also need to enter a valid credit card number. This card will be validated by a $1 charge to your card. This will
only happen once and you will now be able to enter bids through any of our online catalogs by just logging in with your user
name and password.
You are not required to pay by credit card if you are successful this is just a safeguard for us if someone does not pay.
We will let you know what you owe us through an email and you can decide how you would like to pay us. Credit card
payments have a buyer’s premium of 4%. There is a $7 fee per successful lot plus shipping and insurance.
An exciting advantage of entering your bids online yourself, is the option to be notified by email if you are outbid on an
item. You will know when you are outbid on an item and you can increase your bid on that item or bid on something
else.
There will be a cutoff date and time for entering your bids online. After this time has passed, you will not be able to
enter your bids from our online catalog.
• Remember, that just because you are the high bidder in the online catalog, this does not mean you have won the
item. Your bid will still need to beat the floor bidders and live phone bidders. This system will run our absentee bids just as we did before. You will still be able to buy the item lower than your online bid unless someone on the floor bids you higher.
During the live sale, the auctioneer will execute your absentee bid competitively up to the maximum amount you have indicated.
All bids must be left in increments as explained below. If a left bid is "out of increment," the auctioneer has the right to round
the bid up to the next correct increment.
If there is a tie bid between any bidding venues, the floor bid takes precedence.

This service is available on lots with an estimated sale price of $500 or more. If estimates are not available in the
catalog, please call us for an estimate of the item. Requests for phone lines must be received at least three (3) days prior
to the auction date. Seeck Auctions cannot guarantee phone lines but will make every attempt to accommodate those who wish to
participate through that method. Phone lines are provided on a first come first served basis. Please call 641-424-1116 or
email jimjan@seeckauction.com to request a call from Seeck Auctions during the live auction.
- RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeck Auctions may refuse a buyer’s number to anyone for any reason. Bidder agrees to provide any identification Seeck
Auctions may request including but not limited to: drivers license, photocopies of credit cards, Social Security card or
US Passport. Bidder agrees to comply with any stated additional terms or conditions associated with particular items.
Seeck Auctions is providing Internet pre-auction bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that
this service may or may not function correctly before the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of
claim against Seeck Auctions or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before the auction. Seeck
Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their
bid is acknowledged should use the Auctionflex email feature. Seeck Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog
items in this auction.
The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if
deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and absentee bid, the floor takes bid precedence.
Seeck Auctions reserves the right to remove those attendees who impede the previews and/or the auction. Title to all
merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. The buyer will then assume all risk
and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed.
- PAYMENT
All merchandise must be paid in full within two (2) weeks of the date of the sale. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, personal
checks/ certified checks, money orders and cash.
Make checks payable to: Seeck Auctions. Seeck Auctions reserves the right to hold items paid for by personal check until
said check clears. Call 641-424-1116 to pay your invoice by phone.
Note: There will be a $30.00 service charge for returned checks. If payment for purchased item(s) are not received within
two (2) weeks of sale date, your credit card will be charged for all expenses.

- SHIPPING
Packaging, shipping of, and insurance on items will be available to successful bidders. There will be a $7 packing and
handling fee per successful lot. If you are picking up your item, the fee will be waived. Shipping costs will be billed
with purchases. We ship most items via US Post Office Priority. Items will be shipped two to ten business days (2-10) days

- POSTSALE RETURN POLICY
Every effort is made to ensure descriptions are accurate and that they fully disclose any exceptions to condition. Buyers
who wish to report a problem with a purchase they have made must notify Seeck Auctions within three (3) days of receipt of
their purchased item. If a return is authorized by Jim Seeck of Seeck Auctions, the item in question must be shipped, with
full insurance, so it arrives at Seeck Auctions within one week of the aforementioned authorization.
With respect to all returns, it is the buyer's responsibility to cover the cost of the shipment and insurance, regardless of
the reason for the return. Seeck Auctions will NOT reimburse shipping costs to buyers who return auction goods.
